There are many well recognized ways to clean your colon. The simplest is to start a natural colon cleansing diet.

The Fasting Diet

A fast is the simplest form of a natural colon cleansing diet. Fasting is simply not eating or drinking anything except water for a period of time. The body’s method of getting rid of toxic waste is accelerated during a fast. Breaking a fast with fruits and vegetables is the last step. The high fiber in the fruits and vegetables cleans out any loosened old fecal matter and accumulated toxins deposited during the fast.

Fasting can be done for several days. It is important to listen to your body and realize when it is time to stop.

The Juice Natural Colon Cleansing Diet

A juice natural colon cleansing diet is a lot like a fast. You use the depravation of processed foods, fats, and salts to cleans the colon, but with the addition of drinking quantities of high fiber juices. Prune juice has been touted as one of the most powerful cleansing juice since it has a large amount of fiber, but any juice with fiber will work. Beware of “kid’s” juices that have no fiber at all. Remember to read the labels before buying any juice for your natural colon cleansing diet.

Living to the Max Diet

This natural colon cleansing diet has been based on the doctrine of 19th and 20th century health reformers such as Sylvester Graham, Dr. Russell Thrall, Dr. John Tilden, and Dr. Herbert M. Shelton, Weston Price, Norman Walker, Dr. Christopher Gian-Cursio, Dr. Stanley Bass, Dr. V.V. Vetrano, and Dr. Ben Kim.

Basically, the diet is about maintaining basic healthy eating and living guidelines below.

Eat in moderation. Eat only organic whole foods in which at least 50% of your fruit and vegetable intake is eaten whole and uncooked. Try to drink 16oz. of fresh vegetable juice a day that contains no more than 20% carrots.

Meat is good for you. Eat lean, organic meat.

Exercise for at least thirty or more minuets a day, switching from cardio to weight-training every other day. While exercising, try to get ten minuets of direct sunlight to boost your vitamin D. Also meditate thirty minuets a day.

Drink filtered water whenever you are thirsty.

Any one of these natural colon cleansing diets will rid your colon of toxins and impurities if used on a regular basis. Make sure to check with your doctor before starting any diet or exercise program.
